We report on a carbon nanotubes (CNTs) terahertz (THz) detector based on photothermoelectric effect. We achieved room temperature THz detection, and found that photothermoelectric effect of CNTs, as a THz detected signal, strongly depended on electrode metals, revealing a detailed mechanism of THz responses occurring at the interface between CNTs and electrodes. This result provides a strong possibility...
In this paper, the authors present p-type thin-film transistors based on size-controlled Si nanocrystals dispersed on SiO2 matrix. We demonstrate that the influence of Al/Si nanocrystals contacts on thin film transistor characteristics.
We have reported periodic pore formation with diameter in 80 nm and aspect ratio above 250 on N+(100) silicon substrate and demonstrated the fabrication of silicon 3-dimensional microstructures by applying double directional etchings method.
We studied visible EL from size-controlled silicon quantum dots with diameter of 8 nmplusmn1 nm fabricated by VHF plasma decomposition process. We observed EL from nc-Si quantum dots with applied voltage above 12 V.
