The paper deals with designing the driving simulator based on the Gough-Stewart platform and pneumatic computer-controlled actuators. The design features of the simulator are described, the model of the pneumatic actuator is presented and two control laws are considered and studied by the simulations and experimentally.
In the paper, airborne SAR systems developed and produced at the Institute of Radio Astronomy are described. These systems are designed to be operated from light-weight aircrafts. Implemented hardware and software solutions are discussed. Examples of SAR images are also presented.
Results of four explosive Z-pinch experiments with multi-wire liner powering with current of 2÷3 MA and current rise time of ∼0.4µs from magneto cumulative generator MCG-100 with explosive current opening switch, are presented. Temperature of the pinch plasma was 28 … 30 eV, and total energy of X-ray radiation was ∼30 kJ.
