Incremental method and normal-reversed reference voltage method used for the calibration of inductive voltage dividers(IVDs) are introduced. Capacitive leakage due to shielding screens of reference transformer and detection transformer is compensated by electronic method. Special shielding structure of reference transformer and detection transformer are presented.
With proper design, accurate current ratios of direct current comparators (DCCs) can be achieved between series and parallel connections of sections of primary windings with the same nominal number of turns. Based on this principle, a DCC could be calibrated with the windings connected in series, then operated in parallel, at rated current and therefore have its current ratio accurately extended...
In order to minimize the uncertainty of direct current comparator (DCC), the effect of interfering flux on DCCs is investigated here. Some important concerns are studied, such as the number of bus-bars, the window shape of bus-bars, the distance between the bus-bars and core, etc. The investigations are performed by finite element method (FEM). The results show that the bus-bars should be configured...
Inherent ratios of DCCs are revealed between series and parallel connections of n sections of primary windings with the same nominal turns. By keeping the current buses geometric position fixed, leakage flux effects are maintained unchanged between series and parallel switch. A series of DCCs is calibrated under rated ampere turns for current dissemination from 5 A to 5 kA.
