Adaptive dynamic programming (ADP) is a prevalent way to solve the coupled Hamilton-Jacobi-Bellman (HJB) equations of the optimal consensus control for multi-agent systems (MAS). Neural networks (NNs) are normally used to approximate the value functions in ADP. However, NNs with manually designed features may influence the approximation ability. In this study, kernel-based methods which do not need...
The paper investigated the feasibility of Hyper spectra to determine the concentration of soil organic matter (SOM) in Harbin. The 95 soil samples were collected to a depth from 0 to 20cm. Reflectance measurements from 350nm to 2500nm were collected in a controlled laboratory environment. Three multivariate techniques (stepwise multiple linear regression(SMLR), artificial neural network(ANN), partial...
Once regarded as an eccentric and unpromising algorithm for the analysis of scientific data, the artificial neural network (ANN) has been developed into a powerful computational tool. Compared to a traditional regression approach, with its excellent fault tolerance, the ANN is capable of modeling complex nonlinear relationships and is highly scalable with parallel processing. So its use now spans...
As an advanced on-board data transmission protocol, Avionics Full Duplex Ethernet (AFDX) was initiated by Airbus in the evolution of its A380 Aircraft. In this paper, we deduce several properties of an AFDX network and present an AFDX System Integration Algorithm (ASIA) to guide the topology design of an AFDX network as well as Virtual Link (VL) parameters determination. We also propose an Integrity...
In this paper, we address the reference model adaptive neural network control problem for a class of switched nonlinear singular systems under the case of single input and multiple inputs. Based on RBF neural network, the state tracking controller and a switching strategy are designed so that switched nonlinear singular system can asymptotically track the desired reference model. It shows that RBF...
Wavelet analysis has good time-frequency analysis ability. Artificial neural network has powerful nonlinear approximation ability. This paper combines their abilities, and establishes WANN model. It uses this model to forecast monthly runoff, the result shows that this model can get a good result in simulating and predicting monthly runoff.
Nonbinary low-density parity-check (LDPC) codes over finite fields GF(q) have a better performance than those of the binary low-density parity-check codes, at short and medium block lengths, but the decoder of GF(q)-LDPC has more complexity. In this paper, a new stopping criterion is proposed. Based on the changes of the variance of variable node??s extrinsic information, the criterion can predict...
With the popular using of anonymous communication systems, security and overhead traffic attract more attention. HLLCAF was presented to improve the performance of anonymous communication systems. This paper analyzes HLLACF's security and an evaluation algorithm for security is presented. In the end, a simulation experiment and result analysis is given. The theoretic analysis and simulation experiment...
The optimal parameters of candidate measures established by importance sampling are usually obtained by minimizing the quadratic criterion. To begin with, in this paper a scheme is developed for finding the alternative measure that is optimal in the sense that the p-order relative moment is minimized. Secondly, a necessary and sufficient condition for asymptotic efficiency of the optimal change of...
In this paper, a novel clipping noise mitigation algorithm for OFDM system with large clipping ratio is proposed. We notice that the situation that there is only one sample above the clipping level appears with a large probability and the clipping noise on each subcarrier can be estimated in this case. Simulation result shows that the proposed algorithm can mitigate the clipping noise effectively.
This paper addresses a formation control issue for a group of robots with dynamic interaction topology. Normally given a formation shape (pattern), if interaction topology changes from time to time, formation control developed for continuous systems may fail to keep formation, because the system may be not continuous any longer. This paper introduces a decentralized formation control to realize formation...
