We demonstrate dual-comb spectroscopy over a 11.6-km long urban open air path. The system provides time-resolved, high accuracy measurements of atmospheric transmission in the 1.6 micron atmospheric window for greenhouse gas quantification.
Dual comb spectroscopy is a promising technique for high accuracy measurement of trace gas concentrations. Here we study the impact of residual phase noise on the frequency combs on retrieved trace gas concentrations.
We present an OPO frequency comb spectrometer accessing the 2200–3700-cm−1 spectral range. The system allows rapid, high-resolution molecular fingerprinting for trace gas detection. Permitting further wavelength extension, recent development of a 2-μm comb is demonstrated.
Frequency-comb-based Fourier transform spectrometer operating in the 2100–3600 cm−1 range is presented. System allows rapid acquisition of broadband high resolution (120 MHz) spectra, detecting ppb-level concentrations of various molecules in 30s.
Cavity-enhanced direct frequency comb spectroscopy (CE-DFCS) has demonstrated powerful potential for trace-gas detection based on its unique combination of high bandwidth, rapid data acquisition, high sensitivity, and high resolution, which is unavailable with conventional systems. However, previous demonstrations have been limited to proof-of-principle experiments or studies of fundamental laboratory...
