Wanneer zij vragen hebben over hiv en soa gaan ze vaak eerder naar de huisarts dan naar een Centrum voor Seksuele Gezondheid. Dat betekent dat huisartsen bij deze groep migranten extra alert moeten zijn op symptomen die kunnen wijzen op een hiv-indicatoraandoening.
