Dalea janosensis, a new species from the northwestern periphery of the Mexican state of Chihuahua, is described and illustrated. It belongs to Dalea subgenus Dalea section Kuhnistera series Compactae and is morphologically similar to Dalea searlsiae, from which it differs in having a greater number of leaflets pairs, shorter peduncles, shorter spikes, persistent bracts, and shorter flowers.
Verbesina lanulosa is described as a new species from the Mexican state of Nuevo Leon. This species is compared with V. chihuahuensis and V. suberosa, and mainly differs by its leaf shape, petiole form, and pubescence of the stems, leaves, and inflorescences. An illustration is included.
Dalea conetensis, a new species from the central part of the State of Durango, Mexico, is described and illustrated. It is referred to Dalea subgenus Parosela sect. Parosela series Versicolores. It is morphologically similar to D. pinetorum var. pinetorum but can be distinguished by its shorter stipules, leaves, bracts, calyx teeth, petals, androecium, fewer and shorter leaflets, and the calyx pubescence.
Dalea gymonocodon is described from eastern Guerrero, Mexico. It is referred to Dalea subgenus Parosela series Pectinatae. Morphologically similar to Dalea escobilla, it differs by its leaf characters, with 2–6 pairs of leaflets, and by its greenish (drying pale greenish-yellow) flowers.

Dalea pseudocorymbosa is described from the western part of the state of Durango, Mexico. It is referred to Dalea subgenus Parosela section Parosela series Psoraleoides. It is morphologically most similar to Dalea tomentosa var. mota but is distinguished from it by characters of the leaf, inflorescence, and flower.
Dalea rupertii is proposed as new. It differs from previously known species in having calyx teeth with both spurred (1–2) and blister glands (4–6), and leaves 7–17 mm long, bearing 4–5 pairs of leaflets.
