The genetic diversity of three rainbow trout breeds—Amber Wild Color, Kamloops, and Donaldson—are studied by the RAPD-PCR method. Fragments characteristic for individual trout species are found among polymorphic DNA fragments with a different frequency. A high level of similarity between Amber Wild Color and Kamloops breed and low level between Amber Wild Color and Donaldson trout breeds is shown.
