We isolated and identified a full-length cDNA, OsBISAMT1 [Oryza sativa L. benzothiadiazole (BTH)-induced SAMT 1], which encodes a putative S-adenosyl-L-methionine:salicylic acid carboxyl methyltransferase (SAMT) from rice.
