We propose a time-domain fceo stabilization method that fceo is stabilized using heterodyne interference phase between two delay-stabilized pulse trains. Allan derivations of stabilized fceo are 1.48×10−9 at 1 s and 4.90×10−10 at 100 s.
We present a method to calculate the effective center wavelength for heterodyne interferometry of optical frequency combs, and verify this method by numerical simulation and experiments.
We demonstrate a low coherence phase shifting interferometer of a femtosecond laser for optical surface measurement. Phase shifting is realized by sweeping the repetition rate instead of the mechanical scanning. With this method, we reconstruct a glass slide surface which agrees well with that measured by a commercial Fizeau interferometer.
High-accuracy self-correction of air refractive index was demonstrated with simultaneous measurement of group and phase indices. Using precise detection of the pulse envelope and the carrier phase with an optical frequency comb interferometer, a method similar to the two-color correction method was applied, but using a light source in a single wavelength region. In this study, air refractive index...
This paper presents some experimental results from the transplantation of a series of reef-building corals in Sanya, Hainan. In this experiment, 44 corals were fixed on cement plates with some types of cementing materials and put into the sea. After six months of transplantation, 23 corals were found adhered on the plates still, only 3 of them were dead, and 15 of those alive gave signs of growth,...
