This article presents the weighted data features of the standard deviational curve (SDC). Similar data features exist for the standard deviational ellipse (SDE). This paper presents weighted data features for the SDC which include the angle of rotation, the minimum and maximum standard deviation, the area, and the circulatory index. Performed correctly, weighted features give a better use of the areal...
This paper uses computable functions and pairwise inner-product comparisons for determining the optimal contract award in engineering management. This paper uses probability distributions for determining the optimal bidding strategies in engineering management.
This paper applies Markovian decision theory to intra-governmental financial transactions. One agency sells goods and services to the other. The customer agency can accept or reject an invoiced item under contract. Upon receiving a rejected invoiced item, the servicing agency must decide what action to take. This paper summarizes two systems for editing inconsistent data. The two systems are based on the Fellegi-Holt paradim. The systems are known as the CANCEIS system, and the GenBnds system. The major advantage of the latter two are the improvements in efficiency to either represent edits or for finding implied edits. These editing systems are applied to survey data collected by government agencies.
