Transverse problem in coaxial regions leads to the well known Bessel equation. Solution of this equation is in the form of Fourier-Bessel expansion of which eigenvalues are determined by the appropriate transcendental equations. In electromagnetics, two symmetric cases: Dirchlet-Dirichlet (D-D) and Neumann-Neumann (N-N) are fundamental both from practical and theoretical points of view. The first...
This article presents both theoretical and experimental aspects of the imaging of near fields of printed circuit boards (PCB). Selected aspects of sensor performance and imaging of reactive fields of simple PCB boards are also presented.
A rigorous analytical formulation of integral equations is presented for two classes of sensors. The source region Green's function affecting these integral equations is determined. Impedance boundary conditions are introduced to facilitate solutions of integral equations. Sensors are analyzed for the receiving mode in terms of the magnetic and electric effective lengths.
Ferrites are anisotropic in their electromagnetic properties. In the frequency domain, these properties are described by an intrinsic permeability tensor. Members of this tensor are functions of the ferrite saturation magnetization, the magnetic field intensity, effective gyromagnetic ratio and the intrinsic linewidth. At microwaves, both real and imaginary parts of the Polder permeability tensor...
