A wireless communication of LED (light emitting diode) street lamps is studied based on ZigBee protocol working with 2.4GHz. The experiment is done between two nodes of wireless LED street lamps, and the result shows that PER is blow 1% when their distance is less than 43m which satisfies the requirement of wireless network of LED street lamps.
We study an intelligent control system for LED (light emitting diode) street lamp based on temperature sensing and PWM (pulse width modulation). Experiment results show that the system can achieve energy-saving, environment-friendly and long life, and avoid human audible noise by using 25kHz as PWM modulation frequency.

Based on S3C6410 (with ARM11 architecture) and embedded Linux operating system, this paper successfully implements a real-time digital video monitoring system. Test results show that displayed videos are fluent with low packet loss rate, and the system supports online broadcast for multiple clients.
A new block-based fractal image coding algorithm called Fractal Block Coding in Residue Domain (FBCRD) is proposed. In basic Fractal Block Coding (FBC) algorithm, each block (called range block) is encoded by an affine mapping from a domain block within the same image to itself. The decoder uses the parameters of these mappings to synthesize the reconstructed image through an iterative procedure....
