Two-dimensional geometric models for simulation of signals reflected from the inhomogeneous Earth's surface are presented. The proposed models allow modeling both traditional characteristics (reflected signal power, distance to the surface fragment, geometric characteristics of the surface, etc.) and angle noise of the surface fragment. These results can be used for the synthesis of mathematical models...
The algorithm for calculating power flow density of signals reflected from the Earth surface geometry based on its digital map is considered. The algorithm uses an altitude matrix for determining surface geometry and matches up objects of digital map with this matrix. Every object is described by normalized cross section value.
The substitution of surface-distributed objects for the four-point geometric model is considered. The analytical relations which determine distribution parameters of angle noise and the dependence between these parameters and the sight angle have been derived.
