In this paper we present a new method based on ADALINE artificial neural networks (ANNs) for the spectra analysis and frequencies estimation of signals with harmonic and interharmonic content. First tests indicate that the method is able to obtain high accurate results without any information about the signal under analysis.
A method, based on ADALINE Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs), for spectrum analysis and fundamental frequency estimation of asynchronously sampled signals is compared with standard multiharmonics four parameter sine fit algorithm (4PSF). The performance of the method is demonstrated on real sinusoidal and real harmonically distorted sampled signals. The method resolves convergence problems of standard...
A method to compensate the influence in amplitude and phase of the Analog-to-Digital Converters (ADC) and transducers used in the CEM sampling wattmeter, has been evaluated. The influence of the ADC has been tested and an algorithm to compensate for amplitude and phase has been implemented. Similar algorithm has been also developed to compensate for the influence of the shunts and resistive dividers...
Centro Español de Metrología (CEM) has developed a new ac–dc current standard to improve our measurement capabilities and extend the measurement range to 100 A and 100 kHz. The new standard is based on a step-up procedure using the combination of specially designed shunts and planar multijunction thermal converters. The new CEM ac–dc standard, the validation method, the uncertainty estimation, and...
CEM has developed a new ac-dc current reference in order to improve the measurement capabilities and to extend the measurement range to 100 A and 100 kHz. The new reference is based in a step-up procedure using the combination of special design shunts and Planar Multijunction Thermal Converters (PMJTC). The new CEM ac-dc current reference, the validation method and the results are described.
