Generation of a wide-range and stable THz waves from a photoconductive antenna excited by a multimode semiconductor chaotic oscillation laser with an optical delayed feedback using an external mirror is investigated. A Metal V grooved Wave guide is also used to detect the THz waves effectively.
We propose and demonstrate electro-optic (EO) sampling of terahertz (THz) radiation by using GaAs in the Cherenkov phase-matching scheme. This technique can be implemented without Si-prism coupling due to a small difference between optical group and THz phase refractive indices of GaAs and its low THz absorption.
Generation of a wide-range and stable THz waves from a photoconductive antenna excited by a multimode semiconductor chaotic oscillation laser with an optical delayed feedback using an external mirror is investigated. A high bias voltage is also used to generate wide range THz wave. The THz wave near to 1 THz is obtained using this system.
This work presents evidence of phase velocity dependence on metal surface roughness for terahertz (THz) waves propagating in a parallel plate metal waveguide having a sub-wavelength gap. This suggests a possibility to control the phase velocity and the propagation direction of guided THz waves by varying the surface roughness of the parallel plates.
Generation of a wide-range THz wave from a photoconductive antenna excited by a multimode semiconductor chaotic oscillation laser with an optical delayed feedback using an external mirror is investigated. An optical fiber is also used for easy alignment. The properties of the generated THz wave are compared with those of generated THz wave by using a CW steady state laser.
Stabilization of a THz Wave using a chaotic oscillation in a multimode semiconductor laser with an optical delayed feedback by the external mirror is investigated. In this paper, the spectrum of laser chaos is compared with that of the CW steady state oscillation, and the broad spectrum is confirmed in the case of chaotic oscillation. Stabilization and the wide spectrum of THz waves are also obtained...
