Numerically and experimentally demonstrated the appearance of the Tamm States peak in the band gap of a planar photonic crystal. The increasing of quality factor as well as Tamm State frequency falling with rising of inhomogeneity length is demonstrated.
We propose a technique of determination of permittivity ε for undefined dielectric material as a substrate of microstrip line. The technique is in theoretical calculation of microstrip line spectrum and fitting the experimental results by varying the substrate permittivity.
Magnetoresonance features of strontium-doped lanthanum manganites-perovskites in microwave band were investigated. One wide resonance peak has been observed for sintered bulk specimen. For thin-films specimens two resonance peaks has been detected. This fact shows that in thin-film specimens a few magnetic subsystems present. One of them has a low magnetization of saturation magnitude and corresponds...
The propagation of electromagnetic waves in left-handed media (LHM) has been thoroughly investigated by many researchers, and various new phenomena have been discovered. In this work, we present the theoretical and experimental study of the peculiarities of transmission spectra of electromagnetic waves which propagate through a fine-stratified ferrite-semiconductor structure.
Propagation of TE-waves in a structure formed by periodically alternating ferrite and semiconductor layers is studied for the case where an external magnetic field is applied parallel to the layers. Dispersion characteristics for the infinite structure are calculated, and the features of the finite structure transmission are analyzed. The dependence of transmission spectra of electromagnetic waves...
