In this paper, a phased array antenna of which an element antenna has conical radiation pattern is described. Firstly, the characteristics of element antenna which is etched on a dielectric substrate are discussed theoretically and experimentally. Then, 19-element array antenna is fabricated and tested. These results are also shown.
