A rectangular dielectric-metal strip composite resonator antenna with TE mode is introduced. The value of approaches zero for a dielectric with high permittivity. The TE mode has been explored with the possibility of a radiating mode in the hybrid dielectric-air resonator antenna with good radiation efficiency and broadside pattern. Owing to special electric...
In this paper, a novel dielectric resonator antenna resonating at 3.46 GHz is presented. From simulated results, it has been confirmed that the mode TExδ01 has been excited inside the proposed DRA. Since the uniform field distribution over the main radiating aperture, this design has about 5.83 dB gain at θ = 0°. Meanwhile, the ceramic DR is located only 3mm above the ground plane and still shown...
A rectangular dielectric resonator antenna (DRA) with TExδ01 mode is proposed in this paper. Since the uniform field distribution over the main radiating aperture, it has about 6.68 dB gain at θ=0°. The designed antenna is fed at the upper side that has the potential to integrate with chip in millimeter-wave frequency band.
