This paper describes how a linear relationship between control voltage and transmission coefficient can be obtained for a PIN diode biphase attenuator. This linearisation comes out from a theoretical study of the attenuator. Results given here, are obtained for a microstrip biphase attenuator optimised at 1.59 GHz.
This paper describes how an optimal target discrimination in a noisy environment can be obtained by an array antenna of angular beam steering and polarization agility. Results are proposed for a linear array of N elements spaced by a distance λ/2.
This paper presents some original results on mutual coupling between two identical stacked microstrip antennas. The mutual coupling is calculated by using the reciprocity theorem in the Spectral Domain. The theoretical results are in good agreement with experiments. As expected, we observe that the mutual coupling between stacked patches is stronger than that between unstacked patches.
