Three species of Malthininae beetles are recorded for the first time from Poland. Malthinus moraviensis ŠVIHLA, 1997 is known from a few localities in South-Western Poland and Western Ukraine; Malthinus turcicus PIC, 1899 was discovered in Pieniny Mts and Ojców National Park, and Malthodes lucernensis WITTMER, 1981 is known in Poland only from Stożek Mt in Beskid Śląski Mts (Western Beskid Mts).
Carapheles terminatus (Ménétries) has been collected in the nature reserve „Bielinek" on the Odra river and the nature reserve „Stary Przylep" (NW Poland). This are the first reliable findings of this species in Poland.
