This paper presents the effect of selected fungicides on late blight of potato was estimated. The experiments were carried out on potato cultivar Mila. Statistically all fungicides taken under research significantly decreased the grade of potato plants affection. The investigation showed that the fungicides: Brestanid 502 SC and Tattoo C 750 SC protect potato tubers after attak by late blight.
In three years field trials insecticides Enolofos 50 EC, Decis 2.5 EC, Karate 2.5 EC and Bancol 50 WP inhibited the potato leaves late blight (Phytophthora infestans) and early blight (Alternaria spp.) development. This effect was clearly observed on the plots sprayed with Enolofos 50 EC. The use of insecticides no influenced on the helthiness of potato tubers.
