Isotherms and kinetics of adsorption of phenol on microwave organic modified montmorillonite were investigated. The results show that the adsorption capacity of M-OMt was determined as 58.14 mg/g at the conditions of pH7.2 contact time of 1 hour and temperature of 20 C. The adsorption data is a good fit with Freundlich isotherm, and the adsorption kinetics is in better agreement with pseudo-second...
Complex permittivity spectra of mixtures of 1-heptanol and phenol over a range of concentration are obtained in the frequency range 30 MHz to 3.0 GHz using Vector Network Analyzer (VNA). Obtained complex permittivity data points at different frequencies were fitted into Debye model to evaluate dielectric relaxation parameters like, a relaxation time (tau), static permittivity (isin0) and permittivity...
The present work reports the findings of computational conformational analysis and dielectric studies of two alkyl alcohols and two phenols, namely hexanol, heptanol, 2-propylphenol and 4-propylphenol and their binary mixtures. The alcohol group is known to be important in the study of influence of processing liquids on the dielectric properties and performance of MEMS devices.
