Developing learning material is a tedious task mainly due to two factors: their variety and their cycle of continuous update. Based on the utilization of DocBook for developing material, a solution is proposed to solve both problems. The proposal is to establish a special markup inside the DocBook format that permits to define multiple kinds of learning material in the same macro-document.
The importance of the deformation and physics based deformation methods are continuously increasing in computer graphics area. However, the user interaction and reality using them is still insufficient for the various applications such as modeling process and game industry. In this paper, we propose physics based deformation technology under AR (augmented reality) environments to improve the effectiveness...
This paper discusses the manner in which cinema buildings of the 20th century represent both an important physical record of society, and a challenge in terms of representing a complex range of historical, cultural, economic and physical data sets. The paper provides an overview of visualisation techniques which are appropriate to the subject, and provides a case study taken from the city of Aberdeen...
This correspondence demonstrates the significant gains that multiple-access users can achieve from sharing a single amplify-forward relay in slow-fading environments. The proposed protocol, namely, multiple-access amplify-forward (MAF), allows for a low-complexity relay and achieves the optimal diversity-multiplexing tradeoff (DMT) at high multiplexing gains. Analysis of the protocol further reveals...
