In this paper, we analyzed the transmission characteristics of the point-defected around the outer layers of 90-degree bend photonic crystal. The simulation results show the vertical and horizontal point-defects have much effect than slanted ones.
Finite element method is introduced to analyze the transmission characteristics of depressed trapezoidal-ridge waveguide in this paper, solves the cutoff wavelength of the dominant mode, bandwidth and field patterns of the typical model size, discussions the influence of the trapezoidal-ridge size on the transmission characteristics.
