Delegation is crucial in achieving DNS name space's scalability, however the misleading delegation may lead to data inconsistencies or even failure of resolution. This paper proposed a set of metrics for DNS delegation misleading. A step-wise calibration algorithm is designed to identify the faulty servers. The measurement study for DNS delegation misleading using the calibration algorithm was conducted.
