The authors have analysed the complex waveguide structures by the multidomain pseudospectral time-domain (MPSTD) algorithm, and discussed the design of a filtering procedure through improving the stability of the MPSTD method for the corner singularities. These numerical results of the MPSTD method have shown an excellent agreement with those results of the analytical solution and the traditional...
In this paper, the MPSTD algorithm is applied to model the H-T junction in rectangular waveguide. The S parameters of the H-T junction are analyzed by MPSTD. The numerical results indicate that the MPSTD algorithm is accurate and efficient to analyze the H-T junction.
The paper proposes a uniform representation for patching conditions using characteristic variables (CVs) to effectively treat distinct types of interfaces in multidomain pseudospectral time domain (MPSTD) algorithm. Instead of direct use of physical boundary conditions, it is more accurate and stable to match boundary conditions at the interfaces separating two subdomains of different materials. The...
In this paper, the MPSTD algorithm is applied to model longitudinal slot in the broad face of rectangular waveguide. Firstly, an approach of dividing the total-field and the scattered-field is proposed based on the characteristic variables of Maxwell's equations. And the updating equations of the field on the interface between the scattered-field domain and the total-field domain have been derived...
In this paper, the MPSTD algorithm is applied to model the compound slot located in the common broad wall of X band rectangular waveguides. The resonant length of the compound slot and the S parameters of the coupler are analyzed by MPSTD. The numerical results indicate that the MPSTD algorithm is accurate and efficient to analyze the compound waveguide slot coupler.
