Through the analysis of three-dimensional hub model by using finite element, detailed stress distribution is obtained. On this basis, the dangerous sections of structural discontinuity regions are made stress analysis and classification by using stress linearization method, the stress evaluation is carried out through using design by analysis theory. The results show the structure is safe and reliable.
To establish three dimensional finite element model of the whole cervical spine and investigate biomechanical characteristic of the human cervical spine for application of clinical diagnosis and therapy. Method: A healthy adult female was subjected, three dimensional finite element model of the whole cervical spine was established using the method of 3D interpolation with CT. Result: The model included...
Tower structure of the wind generating set is an important load-bearing parts, its design will directly affect the work of wind generating set performance and its reliability. In this paper, the design of tower structure of 180KW wind generating set was analyzed. Effects of different wind loads and structural parameters on the tower structural strength were investigated through finite element simulation...
The finite element software is often applied to stress analysis, which is also crucial to the design of anti-fatigue and anti-calcification of artificial heart valve. The material properties and the boundary conditions of bioprosthetic valve leaflets are defined and geometrical models are established. The linear material and the non-linear material of leaflets with different shapes are analyzed. After...
Apply the finite element software of ANSYS/LS-DYNA to simulate the rolling process of pairs of cross wedge rolling shaft and to analysis the stress field of the rolling at the stage of stretcher and to analysis the distribution of strain field. what's more, it can make a clear analyss of the metal's situation such as the under force and the movement at the process of the rolling deformation, it has...
Growth rate of abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) is thought to be an important indicator of the potential risk of rupture. Wall stress is also thought to be a trigger for its rupture. However, stress change during the expansion of an AAA is unclear. Forty-four patients with AAAs were included in this longitudinal follow-up study. They were assessed by serial abdominal ultrasonography and computerized...
This paper presents a novel simulation tool for structural analysis of a delta robot using SOLID EDGE and ANSYS 11 that allows optimization of the robot's mechanical structure as regards to materials, geometry and manufacture costs. To develop this simulation tool, a three-dimensional model of the delta robot was obtained through SOLID EDGE, and trajectory analysis was carried out, resulting in selection...
This paper put forward a framework of computer aided design system of customized insoles. We build a three dimensional model of the foot and insoles via scanning technology. Biomedical parameters were got by pressure distribution system Xsensor and gait analysis system Footscan. Then we get the boundary conditions of customized foot and insoles. The results of design show that the pressure in the...
In this paper, we present a software architecture support for biofeedback in-flight music systems to promote stress free air travels. Once the passenger sits in a seat of a flight, his/her bio signals are acquired via non intrusive sensors embedded in the seat and then are modeled into stress states. If the passenger is in a stress state, the system recommends a personalized stress reduction music...
This paper realized structural analysis of rotating hook-lift garbage truck based on ADAMS/ANSYS. Firstly, software ADAMS was used to realize dynamic simulation of working process. In order to get curves of dynamic parameters of each component simultaneously, it took external loads and equilibrium of reaction forces of each part as checking conditions. Secondly, this research took the information...
Artery models and surgical simulators are required for safety surgery. We have proposed a novel method to produce biological models using polyurethane elastomer, which has high photoelastic coefficient. And a method is to analyze stress on the model by circular polarized light method. the quantitative stress is analyzed from rainbow-colored photoelastic pattern. But the measurement area is restricted...
For children with cleft palate, oral function is impaired. The hypothesis is that the stress and strain distribution within the affected maxilla with a cleft during functional tasks such as biting and chewing is abnormal and can significantly affect bone development in the growing child. To test this hypothesis, a three-dimensional finite element model of a pediatric subject-specific maxilla with...
