In this paper, a nonlinear model is established for wind energy conversion systems (WECSs) under the rated wind speed. An improved control approach is then proposed for the WECS to deal with non-Gaussian disturbance induced by wind speed. Finally, simulation results show the effectiveness of the improved control approach.
The problem of finite-horizon H∞ outputfeedback tracking control for linear discrete time-varying systems with stochastic state-multiplicative parameter uncertainties is investigated. We consider three tracking patterns depending on the nature of the reference signal i.e : whether it is perfectly known in advance, measured on-line or previewed in a fixed time-interval ahead. The stochastic uncertainties...
In this technical note, a new stochastic control algorithm is presented for nonlinear and non-Gaussian continuous-time systems. Based on the recently developed generalized density evolution equation, which is more tractable than the classical Liouville equation, the relationship is established among the probability density function (PDF) of tracking error, control input and disturbances. An improved...
In this paper, a novel PID feedback control algorithm for nonlinear networked control systems with random delays is presented by a new performance index. The performance index is represented by both maximizing information potential of tracking error and minimizing the square of incremental control input. The information potential is estimated by Parzen windows and quadratic Gaussian kernels. The convergence...
A systematic procedure is introduced, which allows converting a stochastic control problem involving a tradeoff between minimizing control effort and maximizing estimation performance into a deterministic two-point boundary value problem. The proposed approach can be applied to calculating control inputs for a system whose observability is affected by the system's state trajectory due to nonlinear...
A novel control method is proposed for networked control systems with nonlinear process, probably non-Gaussian process noise and time delays. The performance index of closed loop control system consists of entropy, mean value and control energy constraint. Two stochastic control methods for networked control systems are given under the same general frame. One method utilizes gradient optimal techniques...
