in this paper, a dual closed-loop ultrasonic power system based on phase inspection was researched and developed. Reliable phase closed-loop inspection circuits and the power closed-loop control system are combined in our method. To implement the power control, the PWM full-bridge output, over current protection, automatic frequency tracking and frequency adjustable function are realized by means...
This paper presents a low cost, user friendly and effective drive system for the speed control of travelling wave ultrasonic motor (TWUSM). Driving frequency and voltage were used as control inputs in the speed control. Driving frequency was adjusted by semiconductor switches existing in a two-phase half-bridge serial-resonant inverter circuit controlled by digital integrated circuits, whereas driving...
This paper describes a simple class-E inverter circuit design using matching technology to drive the ultrasonic welding system with zero voltage switching. The output voltage is feedback to control the oscillator frequency to arrive the self-tracking function. The results exhibited that the class-E inverter circuit can be effectively and stably applied on the high power ultrasound welding system.
As the problem of final joining quality and environmental pollutants such as lead and toxic gases, the ultrasonic welding system is used increasingly in the industrial workspace. The ultrasonic welder is composed of the inverter, L-C filter for the mechanical oscillation to piezoelectric, booster and horn for amplification of mechanical displacement. Also the resonant frequency is changing by design...
The paper presents a control system for an ultrasonic welding device, based on a power inverter, working in commutation, at high frequency, with a frequency control system and an automatic equipment for command. The inverter fed an ultrasonic piezoelectric transducer to activate an ultrasonic welding tool. The frequency control system is based on a feedback after the estimated movement current through...
