We present a new technique for dispersion compensation with >105 fs2 range and kilohertz tuning speed, enabling high-speed focal plane scanning of two-photon excited fluorescence in a temporal focusing setup.
We demonstrate the combined optical coherence tomography (OCT) and fluorescence spectroscopy (FS) system with the aid of double clad fiber (DCF) devices. The combination of the DCF coupler and DCF lens make different optical systems compact all-fiber single unit. Based on the all-fiber OCT-FS system, the simultaneous measurements of structual information and biochemical information of a plant tissue...
Cr4+-doped glass fiber by a laser-heated pedestal growth method is reported. By analyzing the absorption spectra, the transitions of Cr3+ and Cr4+ in the fibers are identified. With appropriate pumping wavelength and divalent doping concentration, both Cr3+ and Cr4+ emission bands can be excited simultaneously, and become comparable in their fluorescent intensities. As a result, more than 400-nm-width...
A flexible image guide is excited by femtoseconde pulses. Precompensation of dispersion and nonlinear effects encountered in the waveguide allows the recording of two photon fluorescence endoscopic images of colon cells.
