A multiple delayed model of HIV infection has been proposed in this paper. The first delay explains the time for an uninfected cell to become infected. This delay is termed as intracellular delay. The second delay known as the immunological delay describes the immune activation time. The basic reproduction number for the model has been given and the local stability analysis has been performed. The...
In this paper, we discuss the characteristic equation of one dimensional delay differential equation. We provide a Hopf bifurcation diagram of the zero solution of the one dimensional delay differentia equation, by using τ-D decomposition. According to the partition of the roots of the characteristic equation, one can determine the stability domain of the equilibrium and Hopf bifurcation curves in...
This report presents a technique of chaotification based on the optimal time-delay feedback that can make a system chaotic with large chaotic parameters range. The bifurcation analysis is done to determine the stability of the time-delay system. An implicit performance index and an optimization strategy are proposed for the time-delay control scheme that can be effectively carried out to obtain the...
In present paper, the time-delayed feedback is coupled with a ratio-dependent predator-prey model of Holling □ type. This predator-prey system can be seen as a human-controlled biological system. Regarding the delay as parameter, we investigate the existence of local Hopf bifurcations. By using the Hassard method and the center manifold argument, we derive the explicit formulas determining the stability,...
In this paper, a class of neutral neural networks with delays is considered where the time delays are regarded as parameters. The linear stability of the model is studied by analyzing the distribution of the roots of the characteristic equation. It is found that Hopf bifurcation also occurs when some delays pass through a sequence of critical value.
In this paper a delayed predator-prey model system with a Holling-type IV functional response is studied. The bifurcation analysis of the model shows that a sequence of Hopf bifurcations can occur at the coexisting equilibrium as the time delay crosses some critical values. An explicit algorithm for determining the direction of Hopf bifurcations and the stability of bifurcating non-trivial periodic...
This paper addresses the stability, bifurcation properties, and performance improvement of the packet reservation multiple access with hindering states (PRMA-HS) protocol, a medium access control scheme suitable for application in low earth orbit mobile satellite systems. The bistable behavior and bifurcation properties of the PRMA-HS protocol for a traffic with voice sources is investigated. A price...
