An extended car-following model is proposed by incorporating the anticipative information by vehicle to vehicle. The stability condition of the proposed model is obtained by using the linear stability theory. The results show that the anticipative information can promote the stability of traffic flow. Numerical simulations are carried out, and the results are consonant with the theory ones.
Used fixed equal step cubic spline interplolation in non-circular machining, the influence of acceleration may be too strong to cause burns and vibration. To suppress the acceleration influence of feed axis, take cam grinding as an illustration, first derived acceleration and its change from the cubic spline function, then adopting the method of off-line fuzzy model logical reasoning combined with...
Now the state norms of the bridge falsework have not yet been promulgated, and falsework design theory is seriously inadequate, which make it hard to guarantee the stability of bridge falsework and results in a series of bridge falsework collapse accidents in recent years. Based on the test of overall stability of the bridge falsework, AHP is used to give scoring weight to effect factors-the scoring...
Effect of carbon nanotube pillar arrays' edge effect on field emission characteristics is first studied. The ratio of field emission current density at 5.733V/μm is about 55: 6.5: 1 which is nearly proportional to the edge ratio (50:5:1) for small, middle, and large sizes of CNTs' arrays. Besides, ultra low turn-on field (~1.4 V/μm), well emission image uniformity and stability of about ±6.52 % at...
This paper investigates the feedback stabilization problem for networked control systems (NCSs) with unknown disturbances, where sensors and actuators communicate with a remote controller over a multi-purpose network. A new control scheme, which relies on both information-theoretic and control-theoretic tools, is proposed to stabilize linear discrete-time plants. A sufficient condition for stabilization...
This paper addresses the stabilization problem for linear discrete-time systems via limited capacity noisy channels, by which sensors and controllers are connected. It is derived that there exists a lower bound of data rates above which there exists a coding and control scheme to stabilize linear discrete-time dynamical systems over noisy communication channels. A sufficiency condition for the stabilization...
The steel box beam in the Gulf Bridge adopts huge segment lifting construction method, with steel tube falsework as a temporary bridge pier. In this paper, established the finite element model of the steel tube falsework, determined the relevant calculation parameters according to the applicable bridge codes, calculated working conditions and the load, and analyzed the stability of the falsework....
With the outbreak of global financial crisis, the stability of financial system has become a hot topic. Assuming financial system compositing of financial innovation and financial supervision, making use of nonlinear dynamic theory and Bertrand duopoly, we have deduced a nonlinear dynamic model of financial system and studied the stability of this system through model analysis and numerical simulation...
This paper investigates the stabilization problem for networked control systems (NCSs) with limited data rates over an additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) channel. The notion of control with limited data rates means specifying the lower bound of data rates, above which there exists a coding and control scheme for stabilization of linear time-invariant systems. Different from the literatures, the...
This paper investigates the stabilization problem for stochastic linear systems with quantized output feedback control, in which sensors, controllers and plants are connected by communication channels. A quantization policy, which relies on changing the sensitivity of the quantizer on the basis of available quantized measurements, is proposed. It is derived that based on the policy, the dynamic output...
This paper presents a probabilistic numerical approach for stability analysis of soil and rock slopes. The slope is divided into a family of inclined slices, and according to the upper bound theorem in plasticity theory, a work-energy balance equation is constructed for each soil/rock slice. Geotechnical parameters such as the cohesion, the friction angle and the pore pressure ratio etc. are modelled...
This paper addresses the H∞ control problem for linear systems where sensors, controllers and plants are connected by a network medium. A novel control scheme is proposed to stabilize an unstable plant by employing a time-varying sampling period method. Furthermore, the method may also compensate packet dropout and network-induced delays. The simulation results illustrate the effectiveness of the...
To improve the adaptability and stability of Dijkstra algorithm for solving routing problem of service composition, a method to solve routing problem of service composition based on an improved ant colony algorithm is proposed. Firstly, based on the traditional ant colony algorithm, the constraints of it are improved. Secondly, a problem solving model for improved ant colony algorithm is established,...
The vehicle control system based on Network communication becomes increasingly complicated recently. The traditional research only focuses on the improvement of network communication quality or system control performance. The network configuration had been carried out to study the vehicle chassis integrated control system. Based on the MATLAB/Simulink and TrueTime Toolbox, the distributed CAN network...
Industrial ecosystems as an important practice of sustainable development are rapidly advancing at home and abroad, but the evaluation of industrial ecosystem stability is not perfect. Emergy and exergy analysis as complementary methods are used to evaluate the level of the sustainable development of the system. This paper attempts to combine the characteristics of emergy and exergy analysis, and...
A generalized Caputo fractional derivative definition is first proposed. Based on that, two comparison inequalities for scalar and vector nonlinear fractional-order systems are constructed, respectively. An example is provided to show how the tools be used to analyze the stability of nonlinear fractional-order systems.
Scalar feedback control in a chaotic discrete prey predator system is investigated. The existence of the fixed points and the local stability of the positive fixed point are discussed. By using center manifold theorem, it is proved rigorously that the system undergoes the flip bifurcation near the unique positive fixed point. To eliminate the undesirable chaos induced by the flip bifurcation and stabilize...
In this paper, active sliding mode controllers are designed to realize the control and synchronization of fractional-order hyper chaotic systems. Based on stability theorems of fractional calculus, the stability analysis of the proposed method is performed. Finally, three numerical simulations are presented to show the effectiveness of the obtained results. The simulations are all implemented using...
We consider fc-median clustering in finite metric spaces and fc-means clustering in Euclidean spaces, in the setting where k is part of the input (not a constant). For the fc-means problem, Ostrovsky et al. show that if the optimal (k - 1)-means clustering of the input is more expensive than the optimal fc-means clustering by a factor of 1/∈2, then one can achieve a (1 + f(∈))-approximation to the...
This paper presents the stability analysis of a class of nonlinear time-varying delay systems with parameter uncertainty, through extended Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy modeling. The delay-dependent stability and robust stability criterions are presented using delay decomposition approach, in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). The time-varying delay is assumed to be bounded and continuous need not...
