41 species of Trichoptera were recorded in 5 types of habitats. Noteworthy is absence of hydropsychid larvae in the Biebrza River, as soon as some another potamophilous species. There are distinguishable 5 assemblages typical for: forest permament dystrophic ponds, temporary woodland pools, field temporary pools, oxbow pools and permament ponds, lowland rivers.
The caddisflies of Roztocze (SE Poland) were studied from 1986 to 1990. Fifty-five species were recorded on the basis of larval forms, pupae and adults. One of the species - Apolonia midiebris - is new to the Polish fauna.
