This technical note presents a global finite-time observer design for a class of systems with Lipschitz nonlinearity. By applying a finite-time stability theorem and a careful selection of the homogeneity powers and weights, the problem of global and finite-time stable observers is studied. An observer design procedure is given and a numerical example is provided to illustrate the design method.
Double-layer vibration isolation device can significantly reduce the vibration of machinery and equipment delivered to the base or the environment. However, the passive approach is difficult to isolate the low-frequency vibration effectively. Active vibration isolation technology can set the control law according to the adjustment of dynamic characteristics parameters of the system, realize isolation...
Using the projection theory and modern time series analysis method, based on the autoregressive moving average (ARMA) innovation model and white noise estimators, the reduced-order Wiener state estimators for descriptor system with MA colored observation noise and multi-observation lags are presented. They can handle the prediction, filtering and smoothing in a unified framework. They avoid the solutions...
