In this paper MIMOS and the R&D work on the nanomaterials for sensing elements and of material functionalization will be pursued towards application of sensors. The facility for nanomaterial growth is already available together with other equipments for material characterization such as atomic force microscopy (AFM), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM)...
Optimal packing of spherical silica fillers used in epoxy molding compound (EMC) field was studied through founding theoretical and experimental models based on Dinger-Funk equation. The former model kept the superposition contentment of calculated particle size distribution (PSD) curve with Dinger-Funk equation distribution curve while the later model ignored the superfine particle distribution area...
This study demonstrates the formation of silicon nanocrystals via laser ablation using a 1064 nm picosecond Nd:YAG laser in liquid media (water, glycerol, and liquid nitrogen). Atomic force microscopy is used to determine the particle size distribution. A 520.5 cm-1 line in the Raman spectroscopy is revealed which is an evidence of the crystalline phase of the nanoparticles.
