In this paper we describe a systematic procedure to implement two-stage based keywords spotting system (KWS). In first stage, a phonetic decoding of continuous speech is obtained using a CD-DNN-HMM model built with the Kaldi toolkit. In second stage, these results of phonetic transcriptions will serve to construct a
characters, even on syllabic alphabets like Amharic. In addition, we report improvements in word error rate from rescoring lattices and evaluate keyword search performance on several languages.
an additional held-out target language. STT gains achieved through using multilingual bottleneck features in a Tandem configuration are shown to also apply to keyword search (KWS). Further improvements in both STT and KWS were observed by incorporating language questions into the Tandem GMM-HMM decision trees for the
In this paper, we investigate the use of the proposed non-parametric exemplar-based acoustic modeling for the NIST Open Keyword Search 2015 Evaluation. Specifically, kernel-density model is used to replace GMM in HMM/GMM (Hidden Markov Model / Gaussian Mixture Model) or DNN in HMM/DNN (Hidden Markov Model / Deep
