This paper presents analytical expressions and equivalent circuits for calculation of EMP responses (voltages or currents) on transmission lines. The analytical expressions are based on BLT equations, and equivalent circuits are based on telegraph equations and the controlled sources. Both methods are testified by experiments, and comparison of the two methods is discussed.
For NN-type small tooth-difference planetary gear system, this paper sets up the nonlinear vibration model of the gear system with multiple degrees of freedom, multi-gap, variable parameter and bending-torsion coupling by using the mass-concentrated method. The nonlinear vibration differential equations deduced by Lagrange equation are solved with the four-order Runge-Kutta-Fehlberg method. Matlab...
Response surface methodology combined with Box-Behnken experimental design were employed to study the adsorption of U(VI) on microwave activated rice husk ash (ARHA) to elucidate the effects of parameters such as pH, adsorbent dose and U(VI) initial concentration on the adsorption process. Experimental data indicated that pH and adsorbent dose positively affected the adsorption process of U(VI) by...
This paper presents a bidirectional OLED buck driver with the proposed variable-frequency control mechanism. The bulky parasitic capacitor of the OLED causes the significant delay on the dimming response of the OLED. Therefore, the bidirectional OLED buck driver with the variable-frequency control mechanism is proposed to increase the dimming response. Finally, the prototype circuit of a 6.4W bidirectional...
In this paper stability and dynamic response analysis of DC-DC buck converter in Continuous Conduction Mode is done through transfer function approach. Also different methods to improve the performance of the converter are analyzed. The transfer function is derived via mathematical modeling of DC-DC buck converter while considering the parasitic effects. Phase margin and gain margin are obtained by...
Groundwater mathematic model is a basic and effective measurement in terms of analysis, prediction and management in groundwater resource. Conductivity, a parameter of aquifers, is of great importance for the establishing and calculation of any groundwater mathematic model. The purpose of this paper is to find an effective and economic method to get the conductivity, via introducing the idea of the...
The mathematical modelling of fluid power transmission systems involves solving a system of differential equations and addressing the problems generated by transient pressure propagation. The main difficulties in modelling pressurised, fluid pipelines arise from the complex interactions involving boundary conditions, reflections and non-linear behaviour. This paper presents a new method of modelling...
Angular-misaligned shafts connected by gear coupling is the main study object. First introduced a model that consists of two angular-misaligned rigid shafts mounted on bearings. The non-dimensional lateral vibration differential equation of angular-misaligned shaft during startup process is derived, the equation is investigated by numerical integral method. The result reveals that the vibration peaks...
A new method for controlling a synchronous reluctance drive system using a sliding mode with fuzzy controller design is presented. The fuzzy controller is used to adjust the sliding line of the sliding-mode controller. Using this method, the system has a fast response and a good disturbance rejection capability. In addition, the chattering of the speed is reduced. In this work, the mathematical model...
