We report the fabrication of Ni74Mn20Ga6 alloys on GaAs/AlAs/InGaAs (001) substrates with a native oxide layer by molecular beam epitaxy. The structure and magnetic properties of the alloys are investigated by electron microscopy, x-ray techniques, and magnetization measurements. The present work is focused on the investigations of magnetic properties dependence on microstructure of Co–Cu/Cu films electrodeposited under superimposed high magnetic field. The experimental results indicate a strong effect of an external magnetic field on the morphology of deposited films, more precisely on the Co:Cu ratio that determines the film growth.
