A novel stochastic finite-difference time-domain (S-FDTD) technique is presented in this paper for the precise and rapid assessment of electromagnetic field statistical properties. The featured algorithm is systematically verified through detailed comparisons with the results obtained via existing, yet rather resource (CPU and memory) consuming, Monte Carlo-FDTD and other stochastic implementations.
In this paper, we solve the scattering and radiation problem of conducting objects with loading by applying time domain electric field integration equation (TD-EFIE). Marching-on-in-degree (MOD) method is used in the solving procedure in order to acquire an absolute late-time stable result. We also use a combination of Laguerre polynomials as temporal basis function so that the equation can be simplified.
An efficient and stable hybrid method, based on time-domain integral equation (TDIE) and time-domain physical optics (TDPO), is proposed for investigating electromagnetic responses of double 3-D objects illuminated by a high-power EMP. The planar triangular patches are used to model the conductive surface with RWG basis functions implemented, while the temporal basis functions of weighted Laguerre...
