In this paper, a cluster synchronization problem is considered for a complex network subject to discontinuous state updates. A centralized event-triggered control algorithm is first designed. It is shown that an upper bound on the state updates intervals exists under the proposed algorithm. The results are then extended to the decentralized case.
This paper focuses on the problem of cluster synchronization of a class of complex dynamical networks. Based on impulsive control theory and a comparison theorem, generic criteria for cluster synchronization are derived. It is shown that these criteria provide a novel and effective control approach to synchronize a general dynamical network to a cluster synchronization manifold by exposing the relationship...
Recently, cluster synchronization has attracted an increasing interest in various disciplines, including mathematics, physics, and engineering sciences. This paper further investigates the cluster synchronization of a complex dynamical network by using adaptive and impulsive control techniques, respectively. Based on a complex dynamical network with two different clusters, several adaptive and impulsive...
