Methods
A systematic search was conducted in PubMed and CINAHL using the keywords “muscle stiffness”, “shear wave elastography”, “pain”, “asymptomatic controls” and synonyms. The search was
, Cochrane and Web of Science, for papers published between 2011 and 2023. The search strategy combined keywords and MESH terms relevant to ‘body composition’, ‘chemotherapy toxicities’, and ‘non‐metastatic colorectal cancer’.
