This paper presents the performance analysis of a solid exterior rotor brushless direct current motor (BLDC), which is produced as a washing machine motor. Experimental results of the motor are presented and a dynamic model of the motor is modeled by using Finite Element Method. Various performance characteristics are obtained and compared to the experimental results.
