Water environment monitoring system based on WSNs consists of three parts: data monitoring nodes, gateway and remote monitoring center. The wireless gateway is communication center in the monitoring network between those data monitoring nodes (ZigBee network) and remote monitoring center (GPRS network). Based on the MSP430F1611 and CC2430 dual architectures, this paper researches on a wireless gateway...
According to the needs of technology and market of new kind of smart transducer, this article, which is based on the technology of ZigBee, the international standard IEEE1451, and the technology of intelligent transducer, proposed a new wireless transducer/controller Z-WPAN-ST and described its architecture and implement technology. The hardware structure and software components of Z-WPAN-ST which...
A home network gateway has been developed, which supports both wire and wireless communication functions. ZigBee and PLC modules are taken as communication hardware and a conversion protocol is implemented to be able to smoothly exchange the information between the two hardware modules. The developed gateway shows good performance and can supports various home network service configurations.
