This paper concerns delay-dependent robust ℋ∞ filtering for neutral delay systems with uncertainty, which is assumed to be of polytopic type. Based on the Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional, a new delay-dependent filtering criterion is proposed which ensure the error system be stability as well as ℋ∞ -norm bound. The key features of the approach include the introduction of free-weighting matrices and...
This paper addresses stability of discrete-time positive systems with unbounded delays, and shows that such a system is asymptotically stable if the sum of its system matrices is a Schur matrix.
In this paper, we consider a class of time-delay artificial neural networks and obtain practical criteria to test asymptotic stability of the equilibrium of the time-delay artificial neural networks. These criteria require verification of the definiteness of a certain matrix, or verification of a certain inequality. The applicability of our results is demonstrated by means of a specific example.
This paper studies the problem of asymptotic stability for static recurrent neural networks with time delay. Based on the piecewise delay approach, a new Lyapunov functional is constructed. The activation functions are assumed to be neither monotonic, nor differentiable, nor bounded. Without introducing any free-weighting matrices, some delay-range-dependent stability criteria are established. As...
This paper gives sufficient conditions for the stability of linear descriptor discrete delay systems of the particular form. These new, delay-independent sufficient conditions are derived using approach based on Lyapunov's direct method. This paper, for the first time, offers a general case in the sense that necessity for regularity of system basic matrix A0 is not any more required what was a general...
The dynamics of the local field neural networks have been studied extensively, and many good results have been obtained. It should be pointed out that, the global robust stability for the static neural networks with time-delays received very little attention despite its practical importance. In this paper, by using the topological degree theory M-matrix theory and the linear differential inequality...
This paper presents a new result of stability analysis for neural networks with interval time-varying delays. A less conservative stability criterion is established by constructing a new Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional and introducing some free weighting matrices. Numerical examples show that the proposed criterion is effective and is an improvement over some existing results in the literature.
