Two-way relaying schemes in wireless systems obtain throughput gain by utilizing two features (1) jointly serve two communication flows, thus implementing network coding and (2) use of information that is a priori known to cancel interference and obtain the desired signal. Based on these principles, we propose other schemes that bring throughput gains in wireless cellular systems, where relayed and...
This paper proposes a reference vector selection diversity method of subspace interference alignment systems to obtain higher sum rate capacity. The proposed method calculates sum-rate capacities and selects the best reference vector to increase the total sum rate. Simulation result shows that the proposed method increases the sum-rate compared with a previous method.
Bipartite graphs have been often used to describe the structure of iteratively-decodable error correcting codes, and to analyze their iterative decoding performance. This paper deals with the application of bipartite graphs to a different problem. More specifically, the bipartite graph description is applied to the iterative interference cancelation process of a recently introduced random access scheme...
LTE-Advanced system based on orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) can eliminate intra-cell interference since data are carried on the orthogonal subcarriers; however, it can not mitigate inter-cell interference (ICI) which affects the performance severely. Therefore, coordinated multiple point (CoMP) reception scheme was proposed to reduce ICI and improve the cell capacity for the uplink...
A fairness adjustable grouping (FAG) multiuser scheduling algorithm based on MMSE-SIC (minimum mean square error-successive interference cancel) receiver is proposed for MIMO MAC (multiple access channel). The implementation in the 3GPP LTE VMIMO (virtual multiple input multiple output) systems as pairing scheduling (PS) is discussed. This algorithm makes use of the proportional fair (PF) scheduling...
