The orthogonal Kautz function was used to obtain the main steam temperature system model. An adaptive predictive functional control algorithm based on incremental Kautz model is applied to main steam temperature control system. The performance index of multiple model swich is used to judge the plant change in simulation. It has shown that the proposed algorithm is effective.
