The mobile networks must have an ability to maintain an acceptable level of service during network failures to provide high resilience against service failures. This paper presents an eccentric fault tolerant path grouping scheme that can achieve mobility independent Quality of Service (QoS) guaranteed services in Generalized Multiprotocol Label Switching (GMPLS) based wavelength-switched optical...
Mobile network has been tremendously increased in the number of users, diversity of applications and of interface technologies. Also mobile network need to provide sufficient adaptive End-to-End QoS management mechanism to provide enhanced user satisfaction. In this paper, we propose a new adaptive End-to-End QoS management mechanism based on the concept of utility function which we have borrowed...
Based on the relations of the QoS parameters in wireless ad hoc networks, we proposed a new route found mechanism. The new mechanism calculate the length of the routing, the throughput require of the data transmit as bandwidth, and by the most of the bandwidth require to resource reservation to meet the QoS. Simulation result shows that it can meet the QoS require if the network allow.
We propose a routing mechanism with distributed call admission control (CAC) algorithms for mobile ad hoc networks (MANET) based on IEEE 802.11e EDCA MAC protocol. A new flow can be admitted by the network only if it can find a path to sustain its traffic. Bloom filter is used here to detect the flows via each node, and the CAC routing decisions are made according to the number of flows of each node...
Call Admission Control (CAC) mechanism can protect the existing flows from being disturbed by the newly added flows, which can ensure the quality of service (QoS) of Mobile Ad hoc Networks (MANET). We proposed a routing mechanism with distributed CAC algorithms for MANET based on IEEE802.11e EDCA MAC protocol. A new flow can be admitted by the network only if it can find a path to sustain its traffic...
