The main results of the investigation of the electrodynamic characteristics of a new type of antenna — an ultra-wideband, low-directional spiral antenna with coplanar feeding are presented and discussed. The use of such a method of feeding makes it possible to realize the excitation of the antenna without violating the planarity of the structure.
