This study is interested in the pressure error correction of a vehicle wheels using fuzzy logic controller. The proposed approach focus on strategies allowing the system control and the sliding avoidance of vehicle mainly in the wheels failure case. Simulation results show the effectiveness of the developed approach.
In this paper, a 4 wheel steering vehicle (4WS) was used as a template and a vehicle was modeled (experimental) by using 2 degree of freedom system. The dynamics governing the Yaw behavior of a vehicle has been simulated with MATLAB/SIMULINK software. A controller, working by fuzzy logic was then designed. A relationship between front and rear angle of tires in different speeds and different front...
In this paper, a six degree of freedom half body vehicle suspension system is developed and the road roughness intensity is modeled as a filtered white noise stochastic process. Based on control theory, the fuzzy control system of the active suspension is established. With the aid of software Matlab/simulink, simulation process is done. Simulation results indicate that the proposed active suspension...
In this paper, a control strategy of active suspension based on the fuzzy logic control has been investigated. Using incorporating feedback from force sensor at front and rear active suspension system, the control system shows the improvement of the dynamic responses of the vehicle. A multi degree-of-freedom nonlinear model is co-simulated by MATLAB/Simulink and ADAMS/car. The simulation results indicate...
For effective implementation of observer for vehicle body slip angle (beta) estimation in electric vehicle stability control, an empirical tire model with fuzzy logic approach is proposed, in which a local linearization approximation of the nonlinear tire model is adopted. Tire model parameters of front and rear tires cornering stiffness are identified based on the real vehicle experiments. Based...
A hybrid-like observer for vehicle body slip angle (beta) is proposed, in which a local approximation of the nonlinear tire model is adopted. Local equivalent vehicle models for observer design are built by linear approximation of vehicle dynamics respectively for low and high lateral acceleration operating regimes. Fuzzy logic approach is adopted to combine the local observer models so as to deal...
